ʻOlopū is a native Hawaiian violet. The endangered subspecies chamissoniana is found only in the Waiʻanae Mountains of Oʻahu. Threats to ʻolopū include feral goats and invasive plants. Fencing, weed removal, and outplanting are essential to ʻolopū survival.
