This washi was inspired by local lei stands, where strands of lei hang for customers to enjoy and purchase for various special occasions.
Puakenikeni means ten-cent flower, pua meaning "flower" and kenikeni meaning "ten cents." Its name is derived from the early 1900's when visitors arrived by boat, and one could purchase Lei Puakenikeni for 10 cents.
An original design by Kea Peters of Kākou Collective - our signature Kākou Collective Lei Puakenikeni Nui in matte gold foil on ke'oke'o (white) translucent washi tape.
Lei Puakenikeni Nui (15mm x 10m)
This listing is for the washi tape listed in selection ONLY. Colors may vary based on screens.
